Biography
Max Hart Nibbrig is an autonomous photographer. He is an architect and a self-taught photographer. After finishing his degree in architecture at Delft University of Technology he worked as an architect in Amsterdam. During this period he has worked on several commissioned and autonomous works. After a period of combining architecture and photography he decided to pursue his passion for photography.
Although having changed his career path, his main interest is still architecture, landscape and the build environment. In his work he is always fascinated by the atmosphere of a place, finished or under construction. Alongside photo series he creates his own narratives combining history, context and socio-political topics.
Currently Max Hart Nibbrig is involved in several architectural commissions and the documentation of a building construction progress in Amsterdam. He is also investigating topics for a photo series.
